I want to thank Heather so much for having me guest post today. I am such a fan of her blog. I just love it! My name is Jordan, and I write a blog with my mom called the The 2 Seasons. We are in two different seasons of our lives. She lives in the South and recently downsized, and I am in my first house with my husband in the North. We have a blast writing our little blog, so we would love to have you stop by for a visit.
This is a little Southern project I did around the holidays when it was the season of Dirty Santas, White Elephants, and Yankee Swaps. (I never heard it called Yankee Swap till we moved to the North.) Even though it is summer and not the holidays now, these are fun little gifts and easy to make. They add some humor and fun to many celebrations. When we had a Yankee Swap in our neighborhood, I was hoping the Yanks didn’t know about “Red Neck Wine Glasses”. They are now such a hit up here in upstate New York that my friends are making their own “Red Neck Wine Glasses.”
It would have been tacky and classless to give two wine glasses made from mason jars without pairing them with some wine. Nothing could top a bottle of “Two Buck Chuck” from Trader Joe’s.
Isn’t that such a fun gift idea?
I love how she stays in a “Southern State of Mind”!
I can’t wait to make some this Christmas!
