Hey hey hey! How about a spunky dresser reveal to kick off your hump day? I finally finished this up over the weekend and was excited to get it in place in the Big Boy Room.
What do you think? Does is just scream “Mad Men” with it’s dapper charming ways?
It didn’t always look this spunky and smart though. When we were given this dresser, it started out like this. Waa. Waa. Waa.
It was the sweet husband’s idea to add the pop of green on the drawers instead of painting the entire dresser green. We fell in love in love with this dresser at Room and Board – but with the price tag of $1500 it was definitely not coming home with us. Clearly our furniture is not as modern, but the pop of green gives it a little something- something extra!
I love the way it turned out and is such a playful addition for a little man’s room. This is the perfect space to not take ourselves so seriously! 🙂
We have lots to do still and definitely need to figure out lamps and accessories for the top of the dresser. But I keep reminding myself of my very own mantra- Home Wasn’t Built in a Day!
Sometimes I wish I could blink and have it done, but I really do enjoy the process.
So, this is a step in crossing off #4 on the old to-do list for this room. I will be sure to keep you posted on the progress!
10. Baskets for toys, laundry, and clutter in general

Gray and green are one of my favorite color combinations – so perfect for a boy's room – so I'm loving those colors on the chest! What a super cute start to finishing off his room – will look forward to seeing the finished space! So glad you linked up to Best of the Nest!
