Hi there sunshines! Today I am sharing a few touches of spring I have added to the kitchen. I am slowly but surely in “defrost” mode getting the house spring-i-fied. So excited that temps are going to be above 70 today. (and I am ignoring the fact that the low tomorrow is back in the 20’s…)
First up, the sideboard got a few spring-y touches. Do you see that fun cloche? It’s Pottery Barn, but I found it at the thrift store for $5! I think it will get year round use, but is just so perfect for spring! I just added some Dollar Tree moss and eggs.
See those eggs? They used to be plastic Easter eggs. I will be back next week to show how I made them look natural. Hint, it was REALLY easy.
I am pretty much giddy about this clam. Because it houses the first Orchid I have owned since college. And it was a DIY. More to come on that too!
One thing that definitely gets me in spring mode is fresh scents. I am loving this Kitchen Citrus Bliss for my kitchen sink, but all of the Softsoap Liquid Foaming Handwash scents smell great- Kitchen Citrus Bliss, Jasmine and White Cotton, and Whipped Cocoa Butter.
I found all three scents at Walmart.
What do you do to add a little spring to your house? Are you excited about the warmer temps?
Have a great day!
