Happy Black Friday friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday enjoying time with loved ones. We actually scooted down to 30-A (Seagrove Beach, FL) for the holiday weekend. We opted to give up the formal fancy meal for some sand in our toes. It has been great just hanging with my crew, bike riding, and chilling.
So are any of you out fighting the Black Friday crowds today? I have been busy shopping online at J. Crew (hello, everything is 40% off!) but that is as far as I have gotten with sale shopping. I need to buckle down for Cyber Monday!
With Thanksgiving officially behind us, I figured we can officially start talking Christmas around here. YAYAYAYAYAYAYA! Although if I am being honest, Christmas music was already playing in our house last week. I had some time before we came down to the beach and spent a few days getting the house holiday ready.
As I started pulling down all of my Christmas decor, I realized that I have collected quite a random collection of Christmas decor in our 12 years of marriage. With many things given to me or purchased through the years, I was just staring at everything and starting to feel a little schitzo. Would it be a traditional look? A woodsy look? A playful, colorful look? Am I still mad for plaid? But I knew I had to decide on something so it wouldn’t look like a bad holiday sweater exploded in my house.
So, after looking through everything, I realized I should just stick to what I love…. so it’s going to be a BLUE CHRISTMAS! And with so many great sales today, I thought I would share some of my fave blue items.
I hope you are inspired to stick with what you love in your home this holiday season and always. I will be back on Tuesday with Part 1 of our holiday tour!
