As you know we recently sold our first home and the entire process was so bittersweet. While we are very happy in our new place, there is just something so sentimental about that first home! OK, back to the point of today’s post. If you are looking for a unique housewarming gift or a gift for someone super hard to buy for- I am sharing a cute gift we received from our realtor.
It was moving day and all of the “bittersweet” feelings of the move had turned more “bitter” than “sweet” as the movers were loading up the truck. Just as we were finishing up, our realtor stopped in to see how it was going and drop off a sweet gift for us. It was a matted hand-drawn sketch of our home.
Isn’t this just a sweet idea? I asked her where she had it done and she let me know it was from a place called Gift of Portraits. I did also find lots of cute options on Etsy and linked a couple below with a variety of price ranges.
Here is a close up of the sketch- it definitely is a gift we will treasure forever.
I just thought this was such a thoughtful gift idea if you have someone you know that is buying or selling a home. Or if you are a realtor it would make a great gift for your clients.
Here are some cute options I found on Etsy:
