Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend. The boys and I are signing on from the sunshine state as our annual summer beach escapade is on! Thanks to The Big Sweet for holding down the fort at home. And thanks to my parents for letting us swarm their nice quiet, peaceful home for a couple weeks! 🙂 I was excited to hear that some of you shopped the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale over the weekend. I know I have 3 orders in. (and yikes – The Big Sweet is going to be the one to collect them all when they deliver, ha-ha)
Last weekend we took the boys over to the Battery Atlanta for dinner and bowling and I was super excited to finally check out the Garden & Gun Club. If you are a fan of the Garden & Gun magazine then you will love seeing their premier “cocktail and social establishment” (as they call it) located at The Battery Atlanta. (and if you aren’t familiar with The Battery, it is the new Braves stadium complex)
Intimate and inviting, the Garden & Gun Club at the Battery Atlanta writes a new chapter in Southern hospitality. Our premier restaurant brings the defining Southern lifestyle brand to life with a curated menu of elevated cocktails and a modern take on some of our favorite classic Southern dishes. Whether you unwind in the warmth of the Club Bar, reserve a table in the elegant Dining Room or Raw Bar, or dine alfresco in the Club Yard, you will feel both right at home and like an honored guest. The way it should be.
The best part is that we were there around 4pm on a non-Braves game night and had the entire place to ourselves. While it is not a very big space, it packs a ton of style punch. So in good blogger form I was the weirdo snapping pics of the restaurant while The Big Sweet and I had a margarita and a BLT. Never fear, the boys had a round of milk and everyone was happy!
This cool copper bar reminded me of the bar at The Dewberry in Charleston. So swanky. (see our trip report on that here)
The back hall to the bathrooms had a wall of cabinets filled with southern charm.
OK, now you may think it’s weird that I snapped some shots of the bathrooms but they were too wonderfully quirky not to!
I hope you enjoyed the virtual stroll through the Garden & Gun club. Definitely worth popping in next time you are at a Braves game.
