That saying the days are long but the years are short just keeps ringing through my mind today. It truly feels like I just sent Sweet P off on his first day of kindergarten and yet, here we are, wrapping up the school year. We have had a wonderful year and I am so proud of the little guy for all of his achievements. The highlights from the year for him include being recognized for being most caring in his class, receiving MVP for golf and trying baseball for the first time. He plans on being a Paleontologist when he grows up and would like his little brother to drive the big truck to haul away the dinosaur bones.
Sweet B also had a great pre-school year and his highlights include learning his letters, moving to a big boy bed and making lots of new friends. We adore our pre-school and I am glad we will be back again next year to see him learn and grow even more! His plans remain strong that he would like to be a Ghostbuster when he grows up.
With a great school year under our belt, I figured it was the perfect excuse for a celebration. So we hosted an of the school year Popsicle Party yesterday! This has become somewhat of a tradition and one I hope we continue for years to come.
Nothing says SUMMER VACATION like a bomb pop Popsicle and I ran with that as our theme. I am sort of giddy about that Popsicle garland and I will be back next week to share the tutorial. Spoiler alert – it takes 10 minutes and costs $3!
I just love these little munchkins and cannot believe they are another year older!
Of course, my bomb pop earrings were the perfect addition.
