A few years ago we went to dinner with a group of friends at one of our favorite restaurants (Le Colonial) and after dinner someone suggested a round of Espresso Martinis as dessert for the table. I am not a martini drinker and not really an espresso drinker- but I trusted my friend and figured I would give an Espresso Martini a try. When they arrived, can we just say – WOW- it was so tasty and I was immediately hooked!
Fast forward to this past December. We had dinner with the same friends and decided to get Espresso Martinis after dinner again (this time at Blue Ridge Grill- another local fave!) It had been forever since we had one and I was reminded how tasty they are.

Which brings me to how we ended up making our own version of an Espresso Martini at home. I think we can all agree that this past December was a bit “dull”. With few parties and gatherings, it was apparent we needed to create our own entertainment at home! So the hubby decided to try his hand at mixology and recreate these delicious cocktails at home… and I think he nailed it!

Unfortunately, I do not! These were all here when we moved in and there are actually several variations throughout the yard.
