Well it’s been back to reality for us this week and school starts tomorrow… but we did squeeze in one final family outing at the end of summer up at Lake Glenville in Cashier’s NC. We were thrilled to sneak away for one last family getaway before school starts and enjoyed “Family Camp” which is what I called it. Lots of boat time, tubing, hikes, playing cards and watching the Braves.
While we were there, I tried a fun idea and wanted to share it with you today. It’s a simple but practical idea for you to try on your next boat, beach road trip or lake day… the SNACKLE BOX! Yep- a “tackle box” filled with snacks.
I was so excited to try this out while we are at the lake this week. Such a cute and practical idea to take on the boat. You can fill it up, toss it in your tote bag and it’s so easy to pull out to snack on while out and about.
SHOP: SNACKLE BOX
For my Snackle Box, I actually used an old container that I already had that had been storing old jewelry and beads. But Amazon has some good ones that have removable compartments to make larger snacks fit better.
For mine, I just used lots of various dried fruits and crackers that I brought with us- here you can get the idea for what I put in it.

What a clever idea! Thanks for sharing.
