Oh- and more about the girls weekend! This coming weekend we will celebrate our 4th Annual Family Girls Weekend. This has become an amazing tradition where the women in my family (moms, sisters, cousins, aunts) get together and shop, eat, laugh ’til it hurts, and shop some more! (And by shop, you know I mean hit thrift stores and yard sales until we cannot possibly fit one more treasure in the trunk.)
Since these ladies are making the trek to Atlanta (mom and I live here) I am making everyone an “out-of-town-bag” with gum, tissues, candy, snacks, etc. Now everyone will have a designated cup they can drink out of all weekend. (by the way, if your name is Marlene, Karen, Wendy, Erin or Lora- LOOK AWAY!)
I printed ecards that made me laugh to put on each bag.
This one “May the thrift shop odds be ever in your favor” is for my sissy.
