I promise this isn’t going to turn into a book blog but I have enjoyed so many great books lately and want to be sure I share them here with you here! Especially as we head into the summer months, I know we will all be looking for some great reads. So I am playing catch up on what I’ve been reading while I am busy with the One Room Challenge work over the next couple of weeks.
For someone who doesn’t think she likes time travel or impossible story lines, this is my second book this spring with this type of plot that I really enjoyed. (the other was One Italian Summer) I like to mix in a psychological thriller between every few reads and this was just what I was looking for and I gobbled this one up! The premise of this book is that a mother sees her teenage son commit a murder. Then the next day she wakes up and it is the day before the murder. And each day she continues to go backwards while uncovering clues as to what went down with her teenage son. Overall- I enjoyed the unique story and enjoyed this easy read.

Can you stop a murder after it’s already happened?
Late October. After midnight. You’re waiting up for your eighteen-year-old son. He’s past curfew. As you watch from the window, he emerges, and you realize he isn’t alone: he’s walking toward a man, and he’s armed.
You can’t believe it when you see him do it: your funny, happy teenage son, he kills a stranger, right there on the street outside your house. You don’t know who. You don’t know why. You only know your son is now in custody, his future shattered.
That night you fall asleep in despair. All is lost.
Until you wake . . .
. . . and it is yesterday.
And then you wake again . . .
. . . and it is the day before yesterday.
Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. With another chance to stop it. Somewhere in the past lies an answer. The trigger for this crime—and you don’t have a choice but to find it . . .
