Happy New Year friends! Hope your holiday season treated you well and you are recharged and ready for the new year! I fully intended to post here a few more times before Christmas, but I caught the nasty cold that rampaged through the house and as the Big Sweet says, “when Mama goes down – this ship sinks”. So I was barely staying afloat to make our Christmas happen! But it did and it was wonderful! I also planned to come back at the first of the year with a brilliant and inspirational epiphany but then I remembered I am just one doggy paddle away from sinking so here we are! Ha ha.
All in all, it really was a wonderful Christmas and I just love getting to spend so much time with family. I do look forward to getting back into the swing of things though and the Christmas decor is 95% put away so I will take it!
It’s the first Wednesday of the month and that means it’s time for another volume of the DIY Housewives series. Each month, 12 bloggers have partnered up to share past projects from a specific theme- this month it is all about DIY Bathroom Projects. For those of us that have been blogging for awhile, this is a fun way to share some of our old projects with new readers.
Today I revisiting a project I tackled almost exactly a year ago. Every year in January the Big Sweet has a conference and I get a wild hair to tackle a big project. This year, I am COMMITTED to not taking on anything big. Last year, I decided to wallpaper a bathroom with faux grasscloth paper. #nobigdeal
But honestly, this was a fairly easy wallpaper attempt and I am so glad I did it! All of the details can be found here... and the best part is that this project cost me less than $40.
