Hi friends! Hope you had a great holiday weekend enjoying the fourth. With so much travel lately, we decided to make the long weekend a “staycation” with absolutely nothing planned. It was a fun weekend just enjoying Atlanta- we cheered on the runners at the Peachtree Roadrace, hit the pool, saw some friends, and then listened to the fireworks from our back porch last night.
Speaking of back porches, today there is lots of inspiration for your outdoor space! It’s the first Wednesday of the month and that means it’s time for another volume of the DIY Housewives series. Each month, 12 bloggers have partnered up to share past projects from a specific theme- this month it is all about DIY Porch Projects. For those of us that have been blogging for awhile, this is a fun way to share some of our old projects with new readers.
For this DIY project theme, I am sharing a tutorial for a painted striped outdoor rug. I made this a couple years ago and it was the focus piece on the porch for a couple summers.
