Lake House Home Tour || Living Room and Dining

in Lake House Love on 01/22/25

Welcome to the next leg of the lake house home tour- the living room and dining area. It is fun to put this tour together to see how much progress we’ve made but also to really take note of the things I still want to do!

LIVING ROOM

So come on in! This is the living room and what you walk into from the front door.  We have the general layout of furniture but are on the hunt for the perfect rug. I also need end tables and lamps and drapes!

Here you can see how the dining area connects to the living space.

You might recognize this wooden canoe from the old cabin. We knew we wanted to use it in the new space. The plan was to mount it but at this point, it is just leaning in the corner. Baby steps!

We are also waiting on the gas logs to arrive that are on order. We were told they would be in for Christmas, but here we are.

DINING

Here is a glimpse of the dining and kitchen. I will share a more thorough kitchen tour later.

XO-

Heather

beautiful and airy. It’s amazing! On a different note, I need a dress to wear to a semi formal church wedding in March (2pm). What would you wear?

Thank you SO much! I wore this dress last year to a spring wedding and it was lovely! And you can’t beat the price. I wore black, but lots of cute colors- https://rstyle.me/+4pfoMxTeVIXLbcJdPPCH7g

Lovely! Love the family room layout. Do you mind sharing the source of the coffee table? It’s such a great size! Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! Our neighbors sent a text a few months back asking if anyone wanted their coffee table and we jumped on it! What a nice neighbor, huh? I am pretty sure it was originally Restoration Hardware!

Wow I love it all so much! It looks beautiful and cozy. Do you have a link or company name for your doors?

Thank you! The interior doors were all made by a local building supply company. The style is 3 equal panel shaker. Wish I could help with a source!
