Well I couldn’t let Easter come without a fun and easy Easter project, could I?! There is just something about Easter that always makes me crave a craft or project! So last week I was in the mood to whip up a fun little something to get in the Easter spirit. While I was out on an errand run I decided to grab a few “ingredients” to make a fun and festive flower arrangement centerpiece for Easter. Warning- your kids may want to eat it!
I have made this a few times before but it had been a few years and it was just as easy as I remember!
PEEPS CENTERPIECE FOR EASTER
What you will need:
- Glass Vase
- Peeps
- Pretty Spring Flowers
- Smaller vase to hold water
I surprisingly didn’t have the type of vase I had in mind so I popped into my local thrift store and found one for a few bucks. Then I just grabbed three packages of Peeps. I wasn’t sure how many I would need- but these three packages fit PERFECT in this vase! I actually think any color of Peeps would be cute- or you couldn’t go wrong even doing one solid color.
Then I made a quick pit stop to Trader Joe’s for some pretty flowers. It was hard to decide which color tulips to go for, but these two toned pink ones won!
Once I had my items, I played around with different glass jars to hold the interior water until I found the right one to sit right inside my outer vase.
And voila! A fun and festive Peeps Centerpiece for Easter! And yes, my kids DEFINITELY asked if I bought them any Peeps too!
Happy Easter Peeps!
