Can you believe we are one week away from Easter? Um, where did March go? Today I am here with 2 cute Easter ideas to help you with your Easter gathering. These are semi-homemade, super-inexpensive and sure-to-please.
Cute Easter Ideas- Carrot Vase
First up, this super easy Carrot Vase! I think a bag of carrots is less than $2 so this is a very fast and inexpensive way to add some character to your Easter table. To make this, I just put a small vase in the middle with water and grabbed some spring flower clippings from the yard. Then I shoved in some carrots straight from the bag they came in. Easy, fast and festive!
I love the height it gives to the table scape. As far as how long the carrots stay fresh, I am on day 5 out on the table, and they still look good as new.
Cute Easter Ideas- Cute Easter Dessert Idea
These Snack Packs. They are Super Sized and perfect for gussying up with some toppings.
I used both the vanilla and chocolate Snack Packs to make some fun Easter creations.
I made a Dirt & Seed Chick Peep Chocolate version and a Banana Pudding Vanilla version. Aren’t they cute? The best part is they took all of 30 seconds to make. Gotta love a semi-homemade treat!
For the Banana Pudding one, I started with the Super Sized Vanilla Snack Pack. Then I just used a spatula to clear one side of the pack. Then I just sliced some bananas, added some Nilla Wafers and topped it with Redi-Whip.
So perfect for an Easter treat!
Next, the chocolate version. This one was just as easy and super kid friendly! I used the spatula again to clear a side and then placed some jellybean seeds down in the pudding. The dirt is some crushed Oreo and a Peep Chick sits on top. She looks pretty darn happy there!
Alright, I’d say we are ready for Easter Sunday! I am looking forward to hiding eggs this year, I think it’s the first year the little guy is really going to get it. I plan on hiding change in his eggs, the kid LOVES money! Good thing he prefers pennies. 🙂
So what do you have planned for Easter this year?
