Hello hello! Another week of summer already flew by. We spent ours at VBS and the baseball fields and even squeezed in some pool time. Oh how I love you summer!
A few weeks ago my parents introduced me to Fels-Naptha soap after thought we might have been exposed to poison ivy as it helps to wash poison ivy oil off from skin. I was happy to have it for my first aid kit…
Then randomly a few days later my bestie texted me and said she found the secret to white baseball pants. It was Fels-Naptha soap. What are the chances? I have been using a mixture of Oxi-Clean spray and the Fels-Naptha and having some success. I also think soaking the pants right away helps and I always use cold water. If it isn’t obvious by now, basically all I do is drive my kids around and read these days. So far I have shared nine books as part of the
“What I’m Reading” series this year. In the past I have tried to share about one a month so I realize this has been quite a shift! But my blogging mantra is to share what is happening organically in my life. And if reading is what is bringing me joy- then that is what I will share here!

I spotted these lamps at a market a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to stop thinking about them. Brass frogs and green lampshades- perfection! There was no price on them which made me walk on, but I really wish I would have asked about them….they are haunting me!

Etsy has a Chapman frog floor lamp, if you’re interested. It also looks like the small lamps have shown up on FirstDibs frequently. I love those lamps, too, as you can tell. Lol
Fels-Naptha soap works wonders! I have a bar, but forget to use it because it spraying Oxi is so much faster. 😬. I’m going to have to start using it again!
