Thoughtful and Practical Teacher Gift - Thank You For Helping Me Grow

No matter how much I prepare, the end of the school year just seems to creep up on me every year. Please tell me I am not the only one?! So I was thrilled when my Co-Room Mom suggested that we gift our sweet preschool teachers a plant and gift card for their end of school gift. Turns out lots of other mamas were happy to join the group gift. Just about the entire class contributed to the gift card! It’s nice when we can simplify and I’m sure the teachers appreciate just getting one big gift card too. It all came together with a cute gift tag “Thank You For Helping Us Grow”. And I have included that free printable for you below.

For our plant, we grabbed an orchid from Trader Joe’s. Don’t they always just have the most beautiful orchids? And what’s even better is that they come in these pretty pots along with the cellophane so they really do most of the work for you!

I love that giving a plant is not only thoughtful, but also practical because it lasts longer than fresh flowers. And depending on what type of plant you purchase, it can be planted in your yard to enjoy for years to come! (FYI- Trader Joe’s had some flowering gardenia plants as well today)
