I am pretty sure you will forgive me for getting the Electric Slide song stuck in your head after you read today’s tip!
I’m guessing you noticed the striped candles in yesterday’s Halloween Table post and said to yourself- “Oohhh, those are cool, I want some!!!” 🙂
Well, chances are- YOU ALREADY HAVE SOME!
I made those striped candles using plain, old,
boring, dingy white taper candle sticks and…
Black Electrical Tape.

Seriously.
I used electrical tape to make those
super stylish stripes.
Here was the before. Kinda boring right?
And here is the after! Bam!
No need for any crazy Halloween hocus pocus or voodoo magic for these babies! It’s so simple!
Just cut the strips of electrical tape and place them on the tapered candle.
Sure, you can be all perfect and measure to get your stripes even….
Or you can just eyeball it and whip this up in seconds.

The best part? The stripes are removable!
