Southern State of Mind Blog by Heather

{Halloween Home} In the Twilight Zone Tablescape

in Lifestyle on 10/15/13

I had some fun this weekend setting our dining room table for some guests we are expecting soon.

You see, we are having some friends over for dinner.
You may know them too?

Bella Swann & Edward Cullen.
Don’t they make just the cutest couple?
I hope they feel right at home here in the Twilight Zone.

Fun fact:
Back in 2008, I stayed up one night reading one of the Twilight books.
I turned and turned the pages until almost 3 in the morning.
On a work night…

I seriously considered calling in sick to work the next day.
Just so I could finish the book.

Like those striped taper candles?
Check out how I made them here!

Anyone else expecting any fun Halloween visitors?
Anyone else get bitten by the Twilight bug back in the day?
I am still Team Edward all the way!

Team Edward totally! I spent a Friday night -Saturday afternoon without budging from my bed reading the first 2 Twilight books. I finally had to force myself to leave my house and go for a run. While I was running I dreamed of being Bella. I needed an intervention.

Gorgeous! I'm definitely Team Edward too, but Jacob may just have the better body… just sayin' though! Love all the black and white. You have amazing talent! My Halloween visitor will be my Baby Boy who will be arriving (whether he wants to or not) on the 25th, if not earlier. So, maybe some extra family will be visiting me and Baby Boy as we adjust to a family of four.

I agree about Jacob and the bod- but there was just something about that Edward! Wow- you are so close to meeting your little guy- so exciting! Sounds like you will be very busy this year, maybe Edward and Bella can come by next year… they have plenty of Halloweens in their future…

Love the black and white room with the huge splash of turquoise is fabulous. I love the lamps they are to die for… My mother collects that Milk White like the vases lined up through the candles and I have learned to really love it too! I am writing a new series of Vampire Saga called "Not As I Was" that will quench the thirst for more vampires, romance and mystery. Look for it online very soon! There will be 5 books in all…
