Hi friends and happy FRIDAY! Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Today I am sharing Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas to help you cross one more thing off your list! I’ve had a sick kid home this week so my productivity level was way down. I did however, pull all of the holiday tubs out from the attic and started ticking away on some decorating. I love being able to take my time and enjoy the process. Also, we are traveling next week so it will be nice to come home from our trip with a head start.
Before we head out of town, I wanted to share a few easy outfit ideas for Thanksgiving. It seems the temperatures have dropped everywhere and I am definitely reaching for my sweaters, lots of layers and feeling in the holiday mood.
With the stress of hosting family and entertaining, one thing I find is that if I can figure out what I am wearing beforehand, it really reduces the stress level the day of. So I encourage you to go ahead and spend a few minutes this weekend getting prepared… and here is some outfit inspiration to help.
| THANKSGIVING OUTFIT IDEAS |
OUTFIT #1 | TARTAN PLAID & FUR
I grabbed this tartan button down last year and it is definitely a staple this time of year. This pattern is timeless and I found a similar one to link for you. I love it here with an added fur vest layer and my fave skinny black jeans. This outfit will likely be on repeat around here the next few weeks because it is the perfect combination of comfy, cute and festive!
Black Tartan Button Down | Faux Fur Vest | Black Jeans | Booties | Black Earrings
OUTFIT #2 | OLIVE THIS PUFFER VEST
Next outfit idea mixes winter white with olive and one of my favorite closet staples- the chambray button down. This puffer vest is a total steal and of course, my go-to tortoise earrings work well in any season!
Olive Puffer Vest (Under $20!) | Chambray Button Down | Brown Booties
Tortoise Earrings | Winter White Corduroy Pants
OUTFIT #3 | CLASSIC LAYERS
This next one is also going to be on repeat around here this holiday season. The outfit is simple but the accessories take it up a notch. I love that cute velvet hair tie… and would you believe the earrings were under THREE BUCKS?
Leopard Wedges | Camel Tunic Sweater (similar) | Black Faux Leather Leggings | Velvet Hair Tie | $3 Black Statement Earrings
Chunky Pearl Necklace | Chambray Ruffle Top
OUTFIT #4 | FESTIVE LACE
Last but not least, this one is a little dressier and would be great for a more formal dinner. Clearly I am having a moment with black statement earrings, those jeans and leopard shoes! Oh, who am I kidding- this has lasted way longer than a “moment!”
Black Jeans | Leopard Wedges | $3 Black Statement Earrings | Bell Sleeve Lace Top
So what are you up to next week? Hosting company? Heading out of town? I hope these Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas inspired you to stop the cooking, shopping and decorating and get your outfits sorted out for next week!
xoxo-
Heather
Where is the brown sweater from in outfit 3? I love!
Mine is the brand Halogen from Nordstrom a couple years back. I did find a similar color from Loft that is under $20- here is the link: https://rstyle.me/n/dbs4m4x846
