Hey hey hey! Are we in the Fourth of July spirit yet? With the holiday right around the corner, I am breaking down some super simple (but super cute!) ideas to implement around your house so you are festive and ready to host. Today I am back with another SUPER SIMPLE idea to add instant red, white and blue charm to your home. The classic bunting flag!
There is just something so charming about a big flag hanging on the porch, isn’t there?
Here you can see how I hung the bunting and also added two American flags into the ferns. I hung the bunting using small nails (3M hooks would work great too!) and mine is 3 feet by 6 feet.
Red, White & BOOM! It’s simple, but it definitely sets the tone for a festive mood!
Here are some bunting and flag options I found online to get your porch ready!

Hi! Thanks for your note! My pots are faux wicker (a plastic material) and I got them at Target last year. I think they were an online purchase by someone but then returned in store because I found them randomly at the end of the summer and they were the only ones. The pots are 14 inches high and 15 inches wide on top. I got my ferns at Trader Joes- just standard size. The sun is very strong in the afternoons so they usually end up struggling by the end of the summer but I still love the way they look! I found these baskets at Target this year- not the exact same size but close pretty close: https://rstyle.me/+Or3aN-xea83pFQ86hVG_Gw
I made the rug using a plain rug from Ikea and then using a stencil I had to paint the leopard print on with black paint. And the wreath was an Amazon purchase- https://rstyle.me/+w1BgpuU8XvOWp55I612YRw
I hope this helps- please let me know if you have any other questions! Hope your porch comes together!
