Another day, another simple and cute Fourth of July party idea for you! If you are hosting a crew and wondering what to serve for dessert- I’ve got you covered! Just make a Party Pleasing Patriotic Dessert Platter!!
When we hosted my husbands company for a casual dinner a few weeks ago, I was stumped on what dessert to set out for everyone to enjoy. It had to be something for both kids and adults, something I wouldn’t have to physically serve, and something that would not melt when set out.
Dessert Platter for the win!
Here you can see how I pulled this together. I just grabbed my biggest board, a few pretty bowls and all of my ingredients. The red, white and blue cookies, pretzels and cupcakes were from Walmart. And yes, there wasn’t a Swedish Fish left after the party. Once I have the food and some potential smaller dishes, I just started laying them all out until the board was covered.
Honestly, I didn’t put much thought into this and it isn’t anything spectacular… but the kids were blown away and even the adults got in on the fun. I bet with a little more effort and thought, you could make an even cuter version!
Happy Hosting!

Where can I buy the chocolate stars?

Thanks! Wellllll… those were actually from Trader Joes’s from Christmas, I had them in my freezer leftover! But I found some great star cookies at Target- you can see them here: https://rstyle.me/+DxQOM9fryQxDVZplIdW7Yw
