Hey hey hey Monday! Who is ready for some RED, WHITE & BOOM this week? I am so excited to bring you some fun Fourth of July content… because… really…is there anything happier than celebrating the Fourth of July? And here is the key: it’s all super easy to execute and super cute! I just LOVE July 4th because it is all about summertime, friends and family, and low key entertaining. No expectations. No stress. Just a reason to get the gang together and have some summer fun.
If you are hosting this Fourth of July, I hope you feel inspired to do a few of them in your own home! Sometimes I feel like these ideas are too simple to share on the blog, but then I remember we are all busy and looking for easy cute stuff to do…so keeping it simple is the way to go.
So let’s take a look at today’s idea- a simple and cute summer centerpiece.
Fourth of July Centerpiece
Ok, so here is what you’ll need. Chances are you already have a glass vase and flags around the house.
- Glass Vase (similar on Amazon)
- White Hydrangeas
- American Flags- mine are 4×6 (similar on Amazon)
I grabbed that big glass vase for a couple bucks on a Goodwill run. The flags I had in my stash. They were a bit wrinkled and creased from being in storage but I used the trusty Downy Wrinkle Spray and they got straightened out. Then came some fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s. And BOOM- that’s it! This arrangement cost me under $10- and makes a big statement for hosting over the holiday weekend.
BOOM!

I love the hydrangea in the centerpiece. So southern but casual!
