Happy almost Fourth of July weekend! The countdown is on and I hope you have been inspired by some of the July Fourth posts I have shared. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Between two different camp picks up and drop offs this weekend, our friends invited us to stay with them at their nearby lake house so we wouldn’t have to drive back and forth to Atlanta. And what is better than being with friends at the lake for a holiday weekend? Of course I will be wearing all of the red, white and blue and figured I would share a peek at the looks I plan to wear. Maybe it will inspire you for some looks for your own holiday weekend style!
WHITE DRESS LOOK
This cute white dress was hard to pass up because it can be worn all summer with different accessories. I have already worn it several times, and it has POCKETS! It’s not see through, although I did wear my “bloomers” (aka biking shorts) under it to feel more comfortable while wearing it. The flag purse was a thrift store score several years ago and I still can’t believe someone got rid of it! Isn’t it SO FUN?

SEERSUCKER SWIMSUIT COVERUP
This swimsuit cover up is everything you want in a swimsuit coverup! Something to block the sun, something you could wear to lunch, and super cute! And the material dries fast and doesn’t easily wrinkle. Sadly, the blue and white striped one that I have shown here is sold out, but it comes in three other options: solid white, pink striped and blue/green striped. I think the white would make a great option! This hat is another great option to block the sun- and it has a chin strap which is great for windy beach days or a boat ride.

I always pull this red, white and blue swimsuit out that I got at J Crew Factory a few years ago for Memorial Day and Fourth of July. The sarong is my go-to Amazon and I own it in several colors. I literally NEVER leave home without one in my beach bag to keep on hand.

RED BLOUSE LOOK
I don’t wear red much but this casual look definitely makes a statement! My blouse is old, but I did find some similar options and linked them below. The earrings are under $10 and remind me of fireworks but also something that can be worn year round. And I have talked about these jean shorts before- they are PERFECTION and under $20!

BLACK DRESS LOOK
Beach, boat or brunch… this dress is perfect for all! Now this look isn’t red, white and blue, but I couldn’t pass up sharing it with you. This dress is made of moisture wicking material- very light weight and dries fast. It is so light and breezy! The sleeves are perfection with the cuffs and it is just SUCH a great dress to throw on! If traveling, I would say this would be a staple piece to always throw in your suitcase because it can go from the beach to dinner.
