HALLOWEEN PARTY IDEA: MONSTER MASH MOCKTAIL
I made a Monster Mash…
it was an after school smash. 👻 🧟♀️
My boys love to order fun kids drink when we go out to eat- the more candy piled in the better! So I surprised them with a Monster Mash Mocktail as an after school treat yesterday. They were fully amused. (Pro Tip: ask Alexa to play Monster Mash when serving). I had bought those Monster Peeps without really knowing what I would do with them and was happy to find a reason to put them to use!

MYSTERY READER
It was SUCH a joy to be the mystery reader in Sweet B’s class this week. I really put some thought into my books and wanted them to be Halloween themed. Second grade is still such a sweet age… and I cherish these opportunities.
Here are the books I read. They were all super cute for Halloween!
The Good, The Bad and The Spooky- I found at Target. We had Creepy Crayon and Creepy Carrots (have you read Creepy Pair of Underwear!??) and I borrowed Fright Club and Dragons Love Tacos The Sequel from our library.
PUMPKIN CONTEST
Speaking of the book Creepy Pair of Underwear, our school library hosted a pumpkin book character contest and the kids did such a great job. I was there to help receive them all and had waayyyyy too much fun displaying them and admiring them.
Sweet P made this one…
And the whole school winner was this Elton John- no surprise there… just look at this awesome pumpkin!
and here were a few more of my favorites!
PULL APART CUPCAKE CAKE
Our Fighting Irish football season is still in full swing! Another Mom and I hosted the “tailgate” after the game the other night and she ordered this adorable pull apart cupcake cake. It. Was. A. Hit.
