Happy Friday! Only 12 more days until school starts. Part of me is SO ready for back to school and part of me is mourning the end of summer. It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to the less scheduled days… but my heart is also ready for a routine and a schedule. And let’s just say the kids are officially “BORED.” It seems I am always conflicted this time of year so the best I can do is enjoy these last few days and mentally prepare myself for the busy days (AND MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!)
Grab your coffee and meet me on the porch- it’s time to catch up with this week’s Front Porch Coffee Talk!
Summer is wrapping up and I think I am close to being able to catch my breath! It’s been a hectic few weeks with…
A trip to Jackson, Wyoming
A stop in Sun Valley Idaho…
A beach Florida family week…
oh and did I mention there were 11 kids there?…
And then a 12th birthday!
I am still spinning! I had lots of questions about our Jackson trip when I shared it on Instagram so I am planning to share a recap next week here on the blog.
Making our final summer bucket list and checking it twice! One of the items was a trip to the Varsity complete with some Frosted Orange drinks. Definitely a fun Atlanta outing.
This is me. 100 percent me.
I wore bow tie dress in a brown and black color block pattern to a wedding last year and SO many people loved it! It quickly sold out but I recently spotted this all black version. Would be a great closet staple for weddings and parties. You can find it HERE at Anthropologie.
Snagged this shot of Miss Piper living her best life and couldn’t resist sharing.
Saw this on Instagram the other day and love how simple, yet deep, these questions are for bedtime. With boys, particularly one of mine, it is sometimes hard to get him talking. Will definitely be trying these questions.
Happy weekend!

I just want to say how cute your boys & pup are!! As an empty nester my hubby & I don’t do a lot of laundry so one load with all the colors/whites, wash in cold & bingo all is well no color bleeding! I just finished reading Remarkably Smart Creatures, it was excellent, add it to your reading list! Have a fab day😎

Those three bedtime questions are genius! What a lovely tradition.
