Hi friends and happy happy FRIDAY! October is in full swing around here and we are trying to stay sane between sports and school and work! But it really is such a beautiful time to enjoy all of those things in Atlanta and I just love this time of year. It’s been quite some time since we have “chatted” on the front porch and I think it’s time for a catch up! So grab your coffee and let’s talk- it’s time for our front porch coffee talk!

PRAYERS WITH FLORIDA

My heart goes out to everyone suffering from the hurricane this week. It is truly heartbreaking to see some of the footage and cannot imagine the feeling of loss that so many are experiencing.

FOOTBALL SEASON

This football season has taken on a whole new meaning because Sweet P is playing tackle football for the first time! It has been a learning curve for all of us, but SO MUCH FUN! I love how much everyone gets into it- players, siblings, coaches and parents! His team is the Fighting Irish and they are undefeated!

Goooo Irish!

Of course, I found myself the perfect accessory to wear to the games. Don’t mind me if you see me wearing Shamrocks this October!

OCTOBER!

It truly felt like September was one minute and October seems to be flying just as fast! It always seems like Labor Day hits and the next thing you know it’s Christmas. But October is one of my favorite months and I want to try to slow down and savor it. I’ve enjoyed pulling out the Halloween tubs over the last few days to spook the house. CUTE GIRLS WEEKEND TUMBLERS

I made these cute monogrammed tumblers for a girls weekend in Nashville a few weeks ago. They were lots of fun to make and definitely came in handy all weekend with the group.

BETTER HOMES & GARDENS STYLEMAKER

If you follow me on Instagram then you already know I was in NYC last week! I hadn’t been to NYC since December of 2019 and it felt so great to be able to enjoy the city again. This was my fifth year being named a Better Homes & Garden Stylemaker and I left feeling inspired and energized. It also helps that we always turn it into a girls weekend and it was great catching up with my blog friends!
