I SURVIVED YURTING 2021

Yes, yes. I am alive and well. We not only survived but had a great time on our camping trip last weekend and I will be sharing the full recap next week! Spoiler Alert- we are already planning our next one!

Went in looking for outdoor throw pillows. Came out with these nesting side tables and a pair of ottomans for the front of the built ins.

Love these sweet boys! And I love that it’s finally Sweet B’s turn for some sports. After missing out on sports last spring they are both so happy to be able to be back at it this year…

Me on the other hand, while I am so happy life is feeling back to normal I also kind of miss the slower weeknight pace. Is it weird to say that? I know no one wants to EVER EVER EVER go back to spring of 2020 but I think we can all agree that there was something so special about being forced to slow down.

Last Minute Teacher Gift

Well we are in the countdown to the end of the school year. What a wild and weird year it has been. I truly cannot believe my babies are about to wrap up 3rd grade and kindergarten. Sigh.

Carrie Underwood CMA Performance

Did you see Carrie Underwood on CMA the other night? I missed it live but was so happy to be able to watch it after.

I cried. Then I sent it a friend and she said she cried. So you have been warned. I just can’t seem to hear How Great Thou Art without sobbing. But I still think you should watch it, especially if you miss going to church like me. There is nothing better than hearing my favorite hymns- especially when they are sung with Carrie’s beautiful voice.

I also found this video of her singing How Great Thou Art at Ryman Theater in Nashville. Brian and I saw Amy Grant and Vince Gill there a few years ago so I really enjoyed this!
