Hello hello my friends! And welcome to the front porch. Grab a coffee and let’s chat! It’s time we talk about everything and anything. It’s been a few weeks since we’ve “chatted” and I feel like we have tons to catch up on…
Well we FINALLY pulled off our trip to Pebble Beach California last weekend! Yeah, the one that was schedule for May 2020… then rescheduled for December 2020. I will be sharing a full recap of our trip soon- we have so many great restaurant, shopping and an amazing hike recommendation!
I was so excited when I saw the fun designer collaboration that Target was rolling out last week! And I got super lucky because I was all whacked out on west coast jet lag and happened to be awake in the middle of the night when they came online so I was able to score a bunch of options! Here are a few that I ordered, and I think so far I am keeping four. Have you shopped this yet? Most are sold out online but you can keep checking for returns as I have seen some restocked. I also popped into my Target and there was a rack of returns so be sure to check out your local Target too!
SHOP THEM HERE
We are beach bound next weekend so I have been attempting to try on my bathing suits (ughhhh) and cover ups to get ready! I am adding a few items and referring back to this post I shared a few weeks back for some fun beach looks.
Since our last day of school was officially yesterday, I feel like my Maycember Marathon is wrapping up! We may have limped across the finish line but we made it. We got out really early so for all of you still fighting the good fight- hang in there! Summer will be here soon. And if you haven’t done teacher gifts- I’ve got you covered.
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
Well, that was fast. Say hello to the 1st and 4th grader. I’m hoping if I keep saying it, that maybe I will be able to process the fact that they are now a 1st and 4th grader. All the feels.
To celebrate the last day of school- we hosted a K class popsicle party. And had a piñata of course! I loosely went with a bomb pop/ Memorial Day theme and found this cute piñata at Target. I mean what kid doesn’t love popsicles and a piñata?!
Found a cute one and it’s a keeper!
CUTE LOCAL BOUTIQUE
For my local friends- have you been to Willow Park Boutique? I have been wanting to go for YEARS and finally decided this week it was time to make it happen. They are located near Paper Mill/Johnson Ferry/Riverside Dr. Cutest store with great stuff and great price points! Be sure to check them out if you are in the area.
We went to church for the first time. In person. And it felt AMAZING.
MY MOTHER’S DAY GIFT
And since we were all dressed up for church (and Mother’s Day) I told my family that the only thing I wanted for Mother’s Day was a family picture! This is truly the only thing I ask for because I never remember to snap these family photos. Last year I shared my tips for how I capture these family photos and I am so glad to at least get one of these a year!
On one condition… lots of silly ones as well!
Alright well that is all for now. Not sure what my posting schedule will be this summer, but I am just going to take it day by day and see what I can pull off!
