{Girls Night In} Game Night Pajama Party

in Easy DIY, entertain, Girls Weekend on 04/28/15

Good morning! Whew, time sure is flying. How is it almost May? Seriously, where in the WORLD did April go? I am really hoping time s-l-o-w-s  d-o-w-n this week and I have a chance to catch up on well, life.  Yesterday I told you how this past weekend was filled with family girls and fun for our 5th annual girls weekend. It was so fun to shop and run around all day. But we really wanted to enjoy some quality down time together during this girls trip so one night we decided to do have a “Girls Night-Game Night-Pajama Party”. Complete of course with matching pajama pants, M&M® Ice Cream Sundaes, Hasbro® Monopoly, Jenga and a Clothes Swap Exchange.

Um, you had me at pajama pants and M&M’s!!

It was fun to set up a little party table for the Girls Night-Game Night-Pajama Party. I used an extra Monopoly game as a starting point for the decor. Then we just set up a Sundae Bar.

But then we got real fancy because we used stem glasses for our M&M Ice Cream Sundaes..
Because why not?!?!

For the Ice Cream Sundae glasses, I made some glass charms using the Monopoly game pieces. This was really easy with pipe cleaners just twisted around the game piece and then the glass stem.

I called the lucky horse piece. Do you have a go-to Monopoly game piece?! 🙂

In addition to Monopoly we played Jenga. This was a first for me. What a fun and simple game for a group!

Using the extra Monopoly game, I created a Monopoly themed banner using the real estate cards.

Here you can see the pajamas while my cousin enjoys her M&M’s.

In addition to Monopoly and Jenga, we held a Clothes Swap Exchange. Everyone brought their clothes donation pile and we all traded our hand-me-downs. I absolutely love this idea for a girls night in!

It was so great to just spend a low key evening with these ladies.

There was definitely a lot of giggling going on. As usual.

So have you ever planned a girls night in on your girls trip? I highly recommend!

xoxo-
Heather

What a great idea, Heather! I love the monopoly banner, and the idea of the clothes swap is wonderful. Everyone loves to get something "new"!
