My sweet girlfriend tipped me off about this adorable local market after she kept ranting and raving about their banana bread. It felt like every time I talked with her she was buying banana bread to give as teacher gifts, meal trains or to serve when she had company coming. Since I offered to bring some breakfast fixin’s on my recent girls weekend getaway, I figured it was the perfect excuse to finally go over and check out Floral Park Market and their “infamous” banana bread for myself.
Located in the Atlanta Westside Neighborhood about 10 minutes from my house, this cute little market is tucked away on a side street and when you pull up you immediately feel like you are miles away from the city. The outside is charming and I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Floral Park Market is a market offering all things local -including prepared meals, grab and go lunches, farm fresh produce, homemade baked goods, local eggs and honey, items from local artists and fresh cut flowers.
It started as a floral market years ago and in the past couple years has expanded it’s offering to include food and cute gift items.
It was fun to wander around and take note of the selection of items. I was there for food so didn’t take too much time looking at the flowers but if you were looking to create some unique arrangements- this would be a great spot to check out.
After all of the floral stems, it was time to check out the food. Foodies Beware! You could get lost in here perusing all of the unique items.
I ended up grabbing a few loaves of banana bread, a package of frozen Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits, some cheeses, some nuts and a few prepared dips for my girls weekend. I liked that the banana bread came frozen so you could keep some in your freezer to have on hand for last minute overnight company or a hostess gift.
And yes, all of the ladies at my girls weekend unanimously agreed that the banana bread was DEFINITELY worth all of the hype. 🙂

It was so exciting to get this blog. I live less than an hour away almost in Alabama and have planned a trip for tomorrow to this cute shop. I know it is near several shops that I love, so hope for a nice fall day, not to cold as I plan to make a day of shopping in this area. Thanks for sharing.
