Thanks for sticking with me as we meander through the lake house a.k.a.- Ralph Lauren’s Fish Camp. Today I am sharing a little “nook” that has become the coffee corner. This room sits off the kitchen and living room and it is by far my favorite little spot to camp out with a cup of coffee and a puzzle.
So grab a cup of coffee and join me!
Originally, this was just going to be a little wet bar but after looking at the plans, we decided to bump it out for a little sitting area. We had this little nook “color drenched” in Benjamin Moore Holiday Wreath. It’s a beautiful dark green and I absolutely love the way it turned out.
The furniture is temporary and not yet quite right, but certainly getting the cozy job done. Right now we are using 2 pairs of chairs that we had and a $20 thrifted coffee table. The plan is to get four matching chairs and a round coffee table but we wanted to live in it for a bit before deciding. I am kind of loving the big square coffee table- it’s perfect for puzzles. The rug was my Mother in Laws and has been in the attic for a few years- glad it finally has a spot!
I found this fish art at Scott Antique Market and used some taupe leather fabric for matting. The frames were thrifted years ago and they are perfect in here with the tortoise frame.
Thank for joining!

I want to come sit and have a cup of coffee! Looks comfy for sure but I would need a throw of some type to snuggle in!
Love it!
