Masters Weekend is a weekend we always look forward to around here! It is usually blocked off on the calendar well in advance and it’s always a fun reason to entertain friends and enjoy our beautiful spring weather. It is truly a tradition like no other and we enjoy carrying on a few traditions of our own around here.
We’ve been fortunate to be able to attend in the past, and you can read a recap of our day at the Masters a few years ago. However, since we haven’t been able to go to the Masters the past couple of years, we like to celebrate it home! So let’s take a look at a few of the traditions we like to do for Masters Weekend at home.
The azaleas are in full bloom in Augusta for the Masters and they exploded around here too. So I love to make a pretty Azalea flower arrangement to enjoy for the weekend. This year I clipped some pale pink and white and filled in my blue and white ginger jar for the kitchen counter.
April can be tricky in Atlanta and this year was no exception! It was absolutely frigid on Saturday and warmed up on Sunday. So we loved having an excuse to fire up the outdoor fireplace before our friends came over.
Speaking of Azaleas…. have you ever made an Azalea? It is a fresh and yummy drink- the signature drink of the Masters. I shared the full recipe here.
I don’t keep many golf specific items on hand, but this Nora Fleming dish from my Mother-in-Law is great because you can change out the occasion. She gave me a few of the minis when she gifted me the dish and this golf ball was one of them! I have collected 5 different minis so far and was thankful to have this cute golf ball one for this weekend.
Another super simple nod to the Masters is to serve pimento cheese. Our favorite brand is Palmetto Cheese.
And I wore my green cardigan on Saturday as a nod to the green jacket!
And a green and blue sundress for Sunday.
Do you have any traditions you like for the Masters at home?
xoxo

Our azaleas here in TX just bloomed as well! That Azalea cocktail looks divine. Your decor & outfits are perfection ✅✅
