How to Personalize a Bottle of Wine Hostess Gift (with free gift tag printable)

in create, entertain, Fall, Gather, Holiday Crafts, holidays, PRINTABLES on 11/15/19

‘Tis the season for holiday parties and I am SO here for it! (except for the lining up of the babysitters in December, why is that piece so hard!?) Today we are wrapping up the  “Eat, Drink & Be Thankful”  series with a simple way to personalize a bottle of wine to give as a hostess gift.

In case you missed it, we have been busy all week celebrating Thanksgiving. So far we have covered fun Amazon Prime finds, tips for hosting a Grateful for Girlfriends ladies lunch and a fun Floral Centerpiece that pulls double duty as a parting gift. Of course, we all need help with what to wear- so how about this  fun and festive dress  $26 dress that can be on your doorstep in two days!? Winner Winner, Thanksgiving Dinner!

I always keep a handful of wine bottles on hand to grab as a last-minute hostess gift when I am walking out the door to a party. But I am really bad about adding a note card so half the time the host doesn’t even know it was from me! So this year, I will take a little extra step to make the wine bottle gift feel a little more personal.

How you ask? Just by wrapping it with a nice dish towel and adding a gift tag! (SPOILER ALERT– I am providing this cute Cheers gift tag printable for you for free!)

Yep, I made this darling one page free printable with various colors of these “Cheers!” gift tags for you! I purposely went with something that would work all year, keeping it simple! Just print, cut them out and voila! For mine, I added a little piece of brown card stock behind them, used a hole punch, and then tied some raffia to them.

I went ahead and assembled all of the gift tags so I can easily grab them and tie them onto a wine bottle. I also have a stack of dish towels that I will use to “wrap” the bottle.

My dish towels are generic, but it would be fun to find some cute holiday ones to make it festive! Such an easy way to make it feel a little extra special. Of course, the gift tag looks cute without the dish towel, too.

Hope this helps simplify one piece of the craze this holiday season!
