Holiday Hostess Gift {with Mrs Meyers} - Southern State of Mind Blog by Heather

It’s that time of year! The time of year that the calendar invites start arriving for holiday brunches, dinners and parties. It’s also the time of year for my very favorite holiday soap! So I combined the two and am sharing a fun holiday hostess gift using Mrs. Meyer’s Holiday scents.

It’s absolutely no secret that I love using and gifting Mrs. Meyer’s soaps. I have shared teacher gifts, housewarming gifts and hostess gifts. While a bottle of wine is also a must for a holiday party, I also just love the idea of bringing a little something extra that is consumable but that the hostess will enjoy after you depart. Bonus if it smells amazing and looks super festive!

There are three different Mrs Meyers holiday scents available- Orange Clove, Peppermint or Iowa Pine. I haven’t tried the Orange Clove yet but I can confirm that Peppermint and Iowa Pine are like Christmas in a bottle!

I love that I have a couple hostess gifts already packaged up and ready to go when we are running out the door this holiday season. For my gift sets, I used red and white gingham ribbon and some navy tartan ribbon. I ordered both of these ribbons in bulk a few weeks ago to have on hand for decorating and gift wrapping! I also picked up a package of the pine tree pipe cleaners. How fun are these?

I think a pretty red and white dish towel would be a great addition as well!
