Just looking through all of these pictures makes me ready to book our next trip to Jackson! If you missed yesterday, I am doing a week-long series recapping our time out west. Yesterday I shared some highlights from Grand Teton National Park. Today I am sharing highlights from the general Jackson, Wyoming area- including downtown Jackson, Snow King, and Jackson Hole Ski Village.
3. Yellowstone National Park
4. Wilson, Wyoming
5. Sun Valley, Idaho
DOWNTOWN JACKSON
- Jackson Square Shopping
- Town Shoot-Out at 6pm during the summers
- Family picture by the antler arches
- Teton Toys- great toy store for kiddos
- Great spot to get hoodies, stickers, t-shirts and hats for the kiddos
SNOW KING MOUNTAIN
- Cowboy Coaster – this is a little roller coaster that you control the speed. Fun if you are looking to fill an hour or two.
- Concert- we did a bluegrass concert on the top of Snow King Mountain- check local schedules
RODEO
The rodeo is a held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. If you haven’t been, this is definitely a MUST-DO!
JACKSON HOLE SKI VILLAGE
We rented a condo in the ski village this year and really enjoyed the location. It was central to lots of things and nice to be able to walk to get a cup of coffee and breakfast on the go in the morning. If you go, here are some things to do:
- Mangy Moose restaurant for super casual dinner
- Trampoline Sling- the boys really had fun with this both visits
- Grab a drink at Four Seasons and watch mountain bikers come down mountain
- Take Gondola up for dinner at Piste Mountain Bistro. It was pricey, but fun and unique and great views!
Alright! Tomorrow we make a stop in Yellowstone! Montana here we come!
xoxo-
Heather
