On Saturday I decided it was officially time to add some Fourth of July decor around the house. As I mentioned last week, we are planning a fun Staycation at home this year. I love having the city to ourselves when everyone else is gone! And I love adding a few festive touches around the house to make the weekend feel more special. Today I am sharing a patriotic centerpiece perfect for July!
PATRIOTIC HYDRANGEA CENTERPIECE
I hope you aren’t sick of seeing my kitchen island with these vases yet! It’s always so fun to change up up the kitchen island for the seasons and holidays with different flower arrangements. I guess I just can’t help myself and this Fourth of July is no exception!
GLASS VASE | SMALL FLAGS | FAUX HYDRANGEAS
This patriotic kitchen island came together quickly using my trusty trio of vases, some blue hydrangeas clipped from the yard, and some small flags that were tucked away in my holiday storage tubs.
While I love the blue hydrangeas with it, I think this would also look great with white which seem to be still blooming around town right now. (Or of course, you can always snag pretty hydrangeas from Trader Joe’s.)
Also, if you ever wake up to wilted hydrangeas- click here for my tip on how to bring them back to life.

In a Summer State of Mind,
