If you are like me, you are quickly realizing that every time you turn around there is a reason to give your kid’s teacher a present. Back to School, Christmas, Valentines, Teacher Appreciation Gift, Birthdays, End of School Teacher Gifts…
And I am the FIRST TO REALIZE that they deserve these tokens of our appreciation more than we could ever show. (seriously, how do they do it?!?!) But let’s be honest- no one needs another mug or vase. My normal go-to is a Starbucks gift card, but let’s think outside the coffee cup this time. Also, since I want to give all of his teachers a little something, it needs to be inexpensive.
I love giving gifts that are consumable. Something that literally cannot just sit on a shelf but must be consumed and enjoyed. Which is why I just love this simple peach teacher appreciation gift idea or end of school teacher gifts. I really want to think of useful gifts for teachers, and this is a good idea if you have a small budget.
Now I realize that we are in the peach state here in Atlanta, but who doesn’t love a yummy peach?
This sweeter than a peach teacher gift is really easy to put together. I just added some crinkle paper and twine to the berry baskets and tied the gift tag. And because I’m also sweet as a peach :), I created this fun printable gift tag that you can download here.

I found my peaches at Whole Foods and helped myself to their paper pint baskets (aka- free). If your grocer doesn’t have these on hand, use a brown paper bag, wrapped burlap or a fun wooden basket. Or buy bulk and inexpensive baskets, like these paper berry baskets – only $0.75 each for 10. Another option would be give a big basket of peaches as a big teacher appreciation gift or end of school teacher gifts. For this, a bushel basket would be really cute sitting out in a break room.
If you don’t want to use fresh peaches, you can still use this method and gift peach flavored items. Some peach pepper jelly or peach salsa is always a good idea and can be pulled out when entertaining.
Of course, if you don’t have any teachers in your life, this would be fun to show a neighbor or friend a token of your appreciation!
