Last year we kicked off November around the house with a “Gratitude Tree” as a way to show thankfulness in November. And I have decided to make this a new tradition for November. With the craziness of October and sports and school breaks- it always feels like a whirlwind. This month I am just so happy to have a few weeks to just “breathe” before the Christmas chaos begins. And I love this tradition of doing a Gratitude Tree to help us practice gratitude all month.

HOW TO MAKE A GRATITUDE TREE
To start I just dug and found some colored paper that would work for a tree branch and leaves. I just eye balled everything so it’s not perfect but it also only took a few minutes to put together!
I made a little sign at the top that reads “in everything give thanks” 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
On a walk we grabbed a few pretty and colorful leaves and I added those as well!
I am looking forward to this tree being full of leaves at the end of the month that shows everything that we are thankful for!
xoxo-
Heather
