Fa la la la la la! The halls are decked, the cookies are frosted and the presents are all wrapped and under the tree. Well, actually the last part of that statement is a COMPLETE dream. But since the first part is true- today I am sharing our full Winter Wonderland Christmas Home Tour with you! And I am joining an AMAZING group of bloggers who are also sharing their homes. If you are coming over from Heather at Setting for Four– WELCOME to our holiday home. I am so glad you are here.
I’m Heather, the zhushing-crafting-iced-coffee-drinking-mom behind the blog. My husband and I live in Atlanta with our two boys – ages 5 and 8. This is our third Christmas in our “new” home- that I lovingly refer to as Peach Valley around here.
This blog brings me so much joy and I am so glad you are joining me today to have a look around! One way to get caught up with me lately is to read my Front Porch Coffee Talks where I share what’s on my mind like old friends chatting over coffee.
Alright! Well with no further ado- let’s take a walk in our winter wonderland!
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening…
Winter Wonderland Christmas Home Tour
FRONT PORCH
In warmer months you will find me out here most mornings sipping on my coffee. With the cooler temperatures, I just like to give this space a little new life for the holidays. For the front entrance, I just added some fresh pine garland from Trader Joe’s along with some lights. The wreath also came from Trader Joe’s and I love how simple it all is!

FRONT FOYER
Our foyer is small so I kept things super simple in here. Just a new framed Nutcracker poster and a vintage needlepoint pillow.
Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
Actually, I had fun adding a few new birds around the house- you can see the needlepoint pillow in the foyer, and also here I added one in a guest bathroom. I thrifted this little wooden bird and think it might be a napkin holder? To make “feathers” I added some magnolia leaves!
I also thrifted this swan planter and added a small Christmas tree for it’s feathers. I think this would also make a super cute wine bottle chiller. I love to mix things up around here, and love bringing in thrifted pieces when I can!

LIVING ROOM
Moving along into the heart of our home is our living room. I rarely show this angle because it requires me to have a large area of my home clean all at once. What you can’t see pictured here is a fort behind the couch with tons of pillows and blankets. Also, I see now that a rogue Snoopy stocking is hung on the console. What can I say- kids live here!
But aside from the hidden pillow fort lurking behind the couch, here you can also see our Nutcracker collection! I removed most of the items from our built ins to make way for these guys. I love how clean it looks with the focus on these guys.
Later on, we’ll conspire,
As we dream by the fire…
And now let’s take a peak at the mantel. Is it even Christmas until you’ve watched Home Alone? If you’ve never watched Home Alone with an 8 and 5 year old boy- I must say it has been my most favorite moment of December yet. The belly laughs are seriously out of control! And yes, we have also watched Home Alone 2… and Home Alone 3.
Love this angle- you can see both Christmas trees!
KITCHEN
My kitchen winter wonderland really came together using this new cloche and reclaimed wood serving board. This was gifted to me from etuHOME and these pieces are simply stunning!
To create a winter wonderland Christmas cloche for the kitchen island, I just added a Christmas village house that I thrifted for a couple bucks. I love that it has a light in it! I love the added sparkle from some mercury glass trees too. This is like a snow globe for grown ups and my kids love it too.
This little bar is a barrel between our kitchen and dining room and it got a little festive addition with this fun tassel.
On the other side of the bar I made a new garland to hang all of our greeting cards. I am enjoying this new addition SO much and can’t wait to see all of the precious faces hanging here.
FAMILY DEN & NUTCRACKER TREE
Obviously we have a thing for Nutcrackers around here so it should be no surprise that we have an entire Nutcracker tree as well! This one is hanging out in our family den.
DINING ROOM
Ok, now let’s peak into the dining room. I had so much fun turning our dining room into a winter wonderland to enjoy this holiday season. I added a few new velvet cone trees and mercury trees to my Christmas decor, and I just love the way it looks in here.
Seriously, why can’t we just keep fresh cypress garland draped around the house all year?
Though your nose gets a chilling
We’ll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland…
OUTDOOR ROOM
Last but not least, let’s take a walk through our winter wonderland outdoor room. With just a few items I had on hand, I attempted to turn our porch into a “winter wonderland”. Yes, s’mores have already been made out here!
Wouldn’t you know that a few weeks ago my 8 year old yelled “STOP MOM!” when he spotted this old sled in our neighbors trash. He saw a sled to use when it snows. I saw a decoration for our back porch. So it is on loan to me for now until a snow day!
Well, that does it for today. I really enjoyed showing you around and sharing our holiday home with you and I hope you found a few new “winter wonderland” ideas to use in your own home!
Merry Christmas my friends! If you are interested in receiving updates every time I post, please
