Hi friends! Hope your weekend was superb. It was a perfect Atlanta fall weekend. Since we had two sick kiddos, it was a nice low key couple of days for us. Just what the doctor ordered.
It was fun to recap our Jackson Hole trip last week and I hope you enjoyed seeing Jackson in the fall. Today I am going to share some snaps of What to Wear in Jackson Hole.
We are a “no-check” family. Meaning, we do not check our luggage when we travel. At first, I though my hubby was just mean, but now I have come to embrace this policy and it just makes me pack smarter. 🙂
Packing for a trip out west when the temps are going to range from 40-80 degrees was no easy task. It was all about layering up and using pieces that could work with multiple outfits.
It was definitely fun to pull out the cowboy boots and plaid shirts.
Plaid, plaid and more plaid with loads of layers- 4 to be exact. Here I wore a Jackson graphic tee over a button down and a black sweater and topped with a vest. My Wal-mart $10 statement necklace was a fun way to dress up this casual outfit.
I also bought this herringbone vest last year and it is in constant rotation.
Of course, the Off Duty sweater made an appearance as it has become somewhat of a tradition. Sadly, this Lilly sweater is no longer in stock. Note to self: I really need to figure out my Silhouette machine so I can make fun clothes like this!
Well, with that, I am off to play with the kiddos. It is another perfect fall day here!
Make life fun,
Heather
Leaving for NYC, upstate NY and Boston at the end of this week. Layers, a scarf or two, faux leather jacket and a barn coat with hood are waiting to go into the suitcase. It will be in the 30s in the mornings, so fleece leggings for early morning walks are essential. Do I take a leopard faux fur vest? A puffer vest? Daytime temps will be in high 50s/low 60s, but 60% chance of rain for a couple of days. I'll be driving four 3-hour legs by myself, so I can stop at a TJ Maxx and fill in any blanks which arise! Jackson, Wyoming is so beautiful and what a lovely time of year to be there.
You are always so chic, Heather. Love the layering and especially that herringbone vest! Looks like a fun trip!
I love your “Jackson Tee” and have looked everywhere, would you mind sharing where you got it?
