Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was great. If you follow me on Instagram, you know the hubby and I were guests at Barnsley Gardens Resort. I will be back soon to share our trip report. Spoiler alert: it was amazing! But it was back to reality this morning for our last week of school. Wasn’t I *JUST* sitting here whining to you about having a kindergartner? This year flew by and I couldn’t be more proud of that little guy for having such a great year.

While the calendar doesn’t officially show summer starting for a few more weeks, in my mind Memorial Day definitely kicks off summer! We are heading to Lake Oconee for the long weekend with some friends and I am so excited! Four little boys six and under sounds like a recipe for an adventure, right? I am so drawn to red, white and blue right now and the added perk is that packing for our summer vacations will be easy with my mini wardrobe capsule because I can mix and match just about everything.

My hubby sometimes thinks I don’t have good attention to details. Maybe I should show him this outfit to prove him wrong? 🙂 With the scallops and eyelets, the feminine detail is just right! That clutch is on repeat around here and under $13.

You had me at drawstring shorts!!!!! I scooped up a couple pair of these on my recent trip to the J Crew Factory outlet on super sale and they are perfect for when want to be more dressed up than athleisure wear but not quite ready for an actual button and zipper. Momiform at it’s prime y’all. Oh and what can I say? I have a thing for clutches these days… and this one is a perfect neutral option that will go with anything all summer. The bomb pop tassel earrings were a DIY from last summer, but I found a cute option under $10.

Did someone say sparkler? This red suit is sizzling! LOL. I have had my eye on a red suit but wasn’t sure I could pull it off. I found this one at Amazon for a good price and figured it would be perfect. It actually fits really well (definitely size up) and I think it will be on repeat around here this summer. The flag tote is vintage so I can’t source the exact one but I did find something similar and linked it below. I also keep a couple pair of these inexpensive aviators around for the summer- no stress if I lose them or break them!
