Well, did you hear? Apparently word on the street is that skinny jeans are “out”. Which I find hilarious because I’d like to know who exactly gets to decide what is “in” and what is “out?” Anywho- I will likely never stop wearing skinny jeans but I do like the look of the boot crop jeans, especially with warmer temps coming. (My husband, on the other hand, isn’t quite on board yet but let’s just say we aren’t always early adapters around here.)
So what do you think? Are you Team Skinny Jeans FORVER or are you going to give Team Boot Crop Jeans a try?
Or should we just be real and all agree that we are forever going to be Team Leggings?!

If you are interested in trying out some boot crop jeans, I am breaking down options in three price points below.
INEXPENSIVE (Under $50)
The blue denim pair I am wearing are from Old Navy and love the lighter wash color (it’s like I’m back in the 80’s) and the freyed hem. I’ve linked these along with some cute options from Loft that are perfect if you want to give this look a try without spending much. Walmart has a cute pair for only $27– love that bone color!
AVERAGE (Under $100)
If you know you love J Crew jeans (me!) then this might be a great place to start. These white ones speak to me – and currently 50% off making them under $70!
And here is how I would style the boot crop white jeans for spring. A cute lightweight sweater or lightweight blouse, some sneakers, a crossbody and some fun accessories. You can shop everything below here.
INVESTMENT (Over $100)
Sometimes you just feel like splurging and The Mother Hustler is highly rated and I have some friends that LOVE theirs!
So what do you think? Are you shifting or standing firm?

They look like short bell bottoms to me! I’m sticking with skinny jeans and leggings for now! I think on tall people it will look like you bought pants that are too short!😂

I have already begun the shift away from skinny jeans, not just because of style, but I find skinny jeans/leggings way too hot to wear in the warmer months. I guess the length is another issue….What I can’t figure out is how people where jeans with long threads hanging all over the place which would be nothing but a nuisance to me. I’m sure it’s obvious that I’m in the over 60 crowd:-) Your new jeans look really cute to me!
