Hello hello again and happy Friday! With Monday off this week has flown but I am still thrilled to be landing on another weekend. I sure hope you have been staying warm and safe this week. My heart goes out to everyone in Texas that has been dealing with freezing temperatures and no power. I know so many people have had snow days this week too! It’s just been rain, rain and more rain for Atlanta, but the weekend is looking promising. Alright- well grab your coffee and meet me on the porch it’s time for our Front Porch Coffee Talk .

With all of the gray skies, I had a wild hair and added a lamp in the kitchen. I guess I was desperately seeking some additional lighting! Not sure if it will stay in the kitchen but I had it in my stash and am enjoying it in here for now.

Let’s talk about this purple shirt. It is only $15 and also comes in black and white. Aren’t the sleeves so cute?

While we are on the subject of cute clothes- this J. Crew Factory button collar pullover sweatshirt is just too cute! It comes in 7 colors- all perfect for spring. But really- I am loving so much of the new stuff at J Crew and Factory right now.

My husband was sent a King Cake from a bakery in New Orleans and we all did a happy dance when he brought it home from work. Imagine the excitement when we finally found the baby tucked into it. The tradition of eating King Cake was something I never knew much about until our old neighbors, who were from Louisiana, made a big deal about. Now that they have introduced us to this deliciousness it is fun to enjoy this tradition every year.

The boys are B-E-G-G-I-N-G for a dog! And these two cuties are not helping my case. My in laws came for a quick visit this week and brought their cute golden doodles along. I do have to admit, I loved having them here!

Got my second manicure since covid and loved the color so much that I ordered it to do myself! The color is called Suzi Chases Portu-geese and it’s a fun and fresh white color which I think is fun for this time of year and spring.

I’ve done a few makeover challenges with Jewel and her rooms always blow my mind. Well, her latest room was no different! Look how amazing this masculine boy room is. Just so fun and funky. You can see the entire room reveal here.
