I love sharing tutorials and projects but it’s been a while since I shared my random thoughts. So here is a day in the life…
I can’t believe it’s that time again, but the Kentucky Derby is only two months away. I am excited we will be hosting our second annual Derby party this year! While I have lots of decor I can reuse from last year, of course I am scheming up some new ideas. I still love this print of Secretariat I blew up for last year. Our sweet Bella will be 13 years old this month. Our first born! Man, that makes me feel old, ha. She has been such a good pup and I love how the boys call her their sister. Oh and PS: our vintage inspired rug is probably the best purchase I have ever made and so perfect for under a dining room table. Ketchup? What ketchup?!?!
If you need something new for your kids to watch- try the Beat Bugs cartoon on Netflix. Each of the episodes has a Beatles song and now my boys are requesting our Alexa to play “Come Together.” Note: this is a much needed break from the Trolls song “Can’t Stop the Feeling” that has been on repeat since mid-December…
Speaking of Trolls, my kids have been Trolls obsessed for months now. So we made some Trolls inspired headbands. This is just headbands with pipe cleaners wrapped around them which I had in my craft stash. Gotta love being so easily entertained!
Can we just talk about how adorable Sweet P’s pre-k class is? They built an igloo out of milk jugs. I am pretty sure we contributed half of those jugs. #milkaholics And can we just talk about how he is going to be in KINDERGARTEN next year? Y’all, I cannot even handle it.
I posted this to Instagram a few weeks back and boy did it strike a nerve! So many mamas chimed in about their nightly drama with their kiddos. So BE KIND! Because there just isn’t enough coffee to help some days.
The camellias are in bloom in the yard. Which means every room in my home currently has a vase of pink flowers. I am forever grateful to the woman who lived here so long ago. She was in the Peachtree Garden Club and loved to garden. I only wish I had her green thumb, but I do enjoy the fruits of her labor.
Alrighty! That’s a wrap. Here we go MARCH!
xoxo-

Thanks! They are seriously OBSESSED with the movie and have watched it 100 times. Sweet B loves to watch it with his headband on. 🙂
