DIY Witch Legs Planter Stakes

in Dollar Store Crafts, Easy DIY, Fall, Holiday Crafts, holidays on 09/27/18

Hey friends! Checking in from NYC with a quick Dollar Tree Witch Legs Halloween craft. It’s really hard to believe that September is nearly over and the whirlwind of the holidays will be arriving soon.  I am once again participating in the My Dollar DIY Challenge with a Halloween theme this month. It’s always fun to have a reason to craft. And even more fun when it involves an upcoming holiday. For this project I put together this witch leg planter using a couple items from the Dollar Tree.

Dollar Tree Witch Legs

Dollar Tree Witch Legs Supplies Needed:

  • Witch Leg Door Hanger (Dollar Tree)
  • Pool Noodle (Dollar Tree, but actually from my garage)
  • Wooden Skewer (or something similar, I had these in the kitchen for grilling veggies)
  • Moss (two bags from Dollar Tree or online here)
  • Planter- I used a copper planter from the garage- here is a similar option

You can see how easy it is to make with some photos I took along the way:

I had the copper planter in the garage that I use for wine bottles that the legs fit perfect in. I used painters tape and taped the pool noodle stakes to foam cups and inserted them into the planter.

I was originally going to put these Dollar Tree Witch Legs out in the yard but I love how it is now a centerpiece on the kitchen island!

Now if you aren’t feeling crafty but still love this idea of Witch Leg Stakes for yourself, I found this Witch Leg Stakes option on Amazon that you can just buy and stick in your yard.  These really do look so cute in a planter and so festive for a front porch!

So are you ready to start getting in the holiday spirit? Any fun and festive Halloween crafts you plan to tackle?

Be sure to check out the other Halloween Dollar Tree crafts below…

xoxo and Happy Halloween!

It’s a felt door hanger from the dollar tree that I grabbed.
