This post is in partnership with Christmas Tree Shops and That!
I just couldn’t help myself and decided to start decorating for Christmas early this year! Since we won’t be hosting Thanksgiving it just felt right to get started so that we could enjoy it longer. I really do enjoy the process of decorating for Christmas and love changing things up every year depending on our family’s needs and plans. While we admittedly don’t use our dining room very often throughout the year (ahem, except for the two months it was a makeshift classroom this spring), this is the time of year this room really gets to shine!
And it certainly is shining bright after a fun trip to Christmas Tree Shops and That! to get lots of beautiful Christmas decor. I decided to run with a neutral and metallic look here to complement the ceiling wallpaper and I just love how it all came together!
Aren’t all of these metallic trees and garlands just so pretty together?
With the help of Christmas Tree Shops andThat! I was able to completely transform our dining room into a winter wonderland! My nearest location (up in Kennesaw, GA) is open, following all of the safety guidelines of course. I love that they have so many home decor options for such a great value. I just love wandering through the store to see what is new each season and holiday.
We are not certain what our Christmas will look like this year but I know there won’t be any large parties. I do still hope that we can have some smaller groups over and love that our dining room is ready to go! Let’s take a closer look at all of the elements that has me dreaming of a white Christmas.
Dreaming of a White Christmas || Place Setting
Our dining room is a pretty neutral slate and I knew I wanted to run with a White Christmas/Winter Wonderland look in here. The ceilings are wallpapered in a gray metallic trellis which gives the room a moody feel. I was so excited when I found these beautiful beaded silver snowflake placemat chargers. They are just so beautiful and really pulled the entire table together. I also found these gold and off white napkins! I love how my husband’s grandmother’s china and silverware and my own grandmother’s glasses blend so beautifully with the new items on the table.
Dreaming of a White Christmas || Centerpiece
I like having a centerpiece on a table that you can see and easily talk over so when I found these snowy white LED Christmas trees I snagged them! The mercury glass Christmas trees were a Christmas Tree Shops andThat! find from last year and one of my most favorite Christmas items I own- they are just so versatile. For the centerpiece, I just rounded up some glass hurricanes I had and placed the snowy white and mercury glass trees in each one.
Dreaming of a White Christmas || Garland
Moving on the crown jewel of the room- the garland and wreath! I was hard to choose from the selection but I ultimately decided on this pretty silver and white option. To get a really full look I used two garland strands across the mirror and then used a wreath hanger to add the wreath.
The beautiful silver, gold and cream Christmas trees are also all from Christmas Tree Shops andThat! and such pretty and versatile items I know I will use for years to come.
Below you can see all of the fun Christmas finds I was able to find at Christmas Tree Shops andThat!
