Greetings from snowy Montana! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have had the absolute pleasure of previewing the 2019 HGTV Dream Home the past few days out in Whitefish, Montana. It’s been a great couple days and I can’t wait to share all of the fun details with you here in the coming weeks!

But first, let’s make another stop on our Christmas Tour through the house- in the dining room.
While this is our second year in the new house for Christmas, it is the first that the dining room is really usable. So thankful I tackled this space during the One Room Challenge last spring.
There is already quite a lot going on in this room so I didn’t really add much to get her ready for Christmas. The main thing is this festive flocked tree I found at Walmart for around $35.
It’s the first flocked tree I have ever owned, and I will say that for $35, it is the perfect little tree for this corner. I just added ornaments I had in green, blue and gold to go with the decor in here.
Another simple addition is a wreath over this big moss green mirror. The mirror was added during the One Room Challenge and I am still loving this punch of color in here. I just used an over the door wreath hanger to hang it, and then added a navy bow.
The pair of chairs I scored for $4.04 during the One Room Challenge are still in here as I haven’t upgraded them yet. I think they look cute with the tree! I also still want to add more silver platters around the mirror. It sure is a process isn’t it?! 🙂
The bird statement wall is on the other side and I still love it! I know I owe you a tutorial on how I pulled this off for $100. Honestly, it was a labor of love and I still have P.T.S.D. when I try to sit down and write it so hopefully next year I will be able to get it down in a tutorial. Y’all, pulling off a room in six weeks during the One Room Challenge is always worth it, but so stressful when you are doing it!
SPODE Christmas Plates | Blanket Scarf Table Runner | Copper Mug | Napkin Rings
I’ve got the table set with my DIY Antelope Plate Chargers and the Classic Spode Christmas plates. I am so giddy to host Christmas Eve in here this year!
I will definitely be using the chargers for our Christmas Eve dinner and a simple tip when setting your table is to grab some Rosemary from your grocery store.

Here you can see I used it in the simple paper place card as well as as a sprig in the copper mug cocktail. It definitely adds a nice festive detail.
Can you even believe we are less than two weeks away from Christmas? I finally pulled the trigger on a big Amazon order last night but I still have lots of shopping to do!
