Hello friends! I hope your summer has been wonderful! I am always so torn this time of year. I am so ready for routine, but SO not ready for another school year of routine. But we are excited to be starting 7th and 4th grade, and I am looking forward to getting myself back on track. The new school year always feels like a fresh new year and I have several goals I hope to accomplish!
I know I have been spotty around the blog as I really moved most of my time and energy over to Instagram. One of the goals I mentioned that I hope to accomplish is to get back into regular posting over here.

Lake House Update
The lake house is really coming along! We have been able to make it up a few times recently and the floors are in which is making it feel very done. We are hoping for a September finish so it’s the final stretch. To catch up on the lake house build- you can click HERE. I need to put together an update post with the latest.

MOM HACK
The backyard has been full of boys playing wiffle ball and I am so grateful! One thing I have been doing is bringing home the plastic water cups from when we eat out. Seems we visit a few places that use them quite frequently! So I give them a quick wash at home, and then I write the boys names on a cup along with a pitcher of lemonade. When they leave I can toss the cups and not feel bad! I was using our cups and half of my dishwasher was full every day- so this has been a huge helper.

100,000!
I still can’t believe it, but over the summer I hit 100,000 followers over on Instagram! Around this time last year, I really decided to focus more on my account over there and it has been to see growth from around 20,000 to 100,000.
